Description
This is a good sized freeform polished stone, polished right here in our studio! The stone was found by us at one of our digs in Jefferson County, Colorado! It has a fine green/blue color. The color is very much like turquoise, but Amazonite is much harder so it takes a polish easier and is far more durable! It also exhibits a “schiller” flash known as adularescence due to the parallel crystal structure of Amazonite, which is typical for many feldspars! This stone will shine far brighter in the sun than any turquoise! Perfect for jewelry and wire wraps, or even as a specimen in your collection!
